This station receives imagery from the Russian Meteor M2-Series low-Earth orbit weather satellites using automated LRPT (Low Rate Picture Transmission) capture on a Raspberry Pi 400 located in Jefferson Hills, PA.
How it works: An RTL-SDR receiver and a crossed-dipole or QFH antenna tracks each pass at 137.9 MHz. Meteor-Demodulator decodes the LRPT signal and produces raw APT imagery, which is then processed and published here automatically.
